ABERDEEN, Wash. - Allegations of bullying flew at Aberdeen's School Board meeting when one concerned mother submitted letters to board members "I would like you to see first hand what is going on with my son who's being harassed and bullied, he's been threatened by a teacher and a coach. I don't know what my son did to deserve this behavior."
School Board Member Doug Smith replied last night "We take those kind of concerns very seriously, I have heard of some concerns with some members of our coaching staff and our superintendent is looking into that."
After the public meeting concluded, board members went into an executive session where they discussed the investigation among other personnel matters. A formal complaint was filed with School Superintendent Tom Opstad last week.
