Seven Year Old Walks to Grandma's After Mother Drinks Too Much

Ocean Park, WA - When a 7 year old child left mom's house to walk to grandma's because mom was too drunk, Pacific County officers got involved last week. Sheriff Scott Johnson tells us the child was placed with their grandmother in Ocean Park Monday, after it was determined the mother was too intoxicated. The mother was cleared at the hospital, then transported to Pacific county jail and booked on one count of Criminal Mistreatment in the fourth degree.
