Aberdeen, WA - Graduation requirements could be changing soon for High School students, School Superintendent Tom Opstad said the State Board of Education will meet next month "they are going to change a few of the graduation requirements, from 2.5 credits in Social Studies to 3. They are recommending 1.5 credits at the High School in Physical Education and then half a credit in Health."
Opstad said also on the agenda for that meeting is possibly removing "seat-time" for credits, to better accommodate online and accelerated learning programs.
