ABERDEEN, Wash. - Police would like to talk to the woman who was inside a Grays Harbor Transit bus shelter at the Olympic Gateway Plaza when it was demolished in Aberdeen this afternoon. Investigator Keith Dale said it appears A Honda CRV came from behind the gateway plaza, and accelerated through the bus stop, struck a parked car, then collided with another parked car near Happy Teryaki. Dale said the driver was taken to Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries. "The woman that was in the bus shelter when it was demolished got up and got on the bus and left, we don't know who this person is and we'd like to talk to her."
Eye Witnesses said the vehicle appeared out of control, and that the woman crawled out from under rubble to get on the bus. Tow trucks removed three vehicles from the Gateway plaza as part of the accident scene, while Grays Harbor transit staff loaded 3 walls and a roof into a service vehicle.
