Grays Harbor PUD Says Outages Were Minimal

Aberdeen, WA - Grays Harbor PUD said their system faired well yesterday during high winds that did knock out power to a total of 8200 customers. PUD General Manager Rick Lovely said yesterday's storm hit with leaves still on the trees making them kites sailing into power lines. All power was restored quickly yesterday to the East Hoquiam and Ocean Shores areas. Lovely reminded residents that now is a good time to prepare for possible winter outages.
