Hoquiam, WA - Collectors check your Osama Bin Loggin t-shirt for a budweiser ad, Don Bell with the Hoquiam Logger's Playday committee says Belgium-based Inbev asked him to pull the ad after the shirt controversy made national headlines.
A Facebook group was formed overnight calling for a boycott, and stating that Budweiser had pulled sponsorship of the event "I think that that's a little bit over the top, and I think that's an overreaction."
Bell said Budweiser was never a sponsor, and that the local distributor was not involved in the decision to pull the ad.
