Deputy Wrecks Patrol Car

ELMA, Wash. - Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Deputy Kevin Schrader was uninjured Friday night when an attempt to pass an empty log truck resulted in a spin out on Highway 12 east of Elma. The Washington State Patrol reports the 2011 Dodge Charger displayed reportable damage when it came to rest under the State Route 8 overpass. Schrader's car struck both guardrails while trying to pass the truck with lights activated just before 9:30 Friday night.
