Rite Aid Opens New StoreHoquiam, WA - A grand opening 3 years in the making today as Rite Aid opened it's doors at the corner of Simpson Avenue and Myrtle street.
Hoquiam Mayor Jack Durney had his wellness plus card and a coupon ready to go; "there aren't a lot of small town mayors that have opportunities to welcome a national business like this to their community and we're very happy to have them here. Of course it's in Hoquiam and I love that."
District Manager Mike Gillespie said before the ribbon cutting "Many years in the other store, and many years to come we're so excited to open up here in a few minutes and continue to serve the community as your drug store."
With festivities planned until 9PM our own Rhys Davis will be broadcasting live from 3:30 to 5:30.
