Aberdeen Council Stalls Vote on Union Contract

Aberdeen, Wa - The Aberdeen City Council voted to table a vote on a proposed Union contract with the Fire Department "essentially that would be a three year contract" City Attorney Eric Nelson explained the changes in the contract including cost of living adjustments of %3.2 in 2012, and a maximum of %3.5 in 2013. With four councilmembers missing from last night's meeting, councilman Frank Gordon recommended stalling the vote.
