Aberdeen Fire Department Extinguishes Stump

Aberdeen, WA - Firefighters spent about an hour this morning extinguishing a stump in the 1500 block of Laura Street in Aberdeen. Battalion Chief Tom Hubbard tells us the cause of the fire is malicious as remnants of a campfire were found at the base of the large stump. No structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported before 4 this morning, the investigation continues.
