Westport Fire Takes Garage

Westport, WA - Westport fire crews were busy overnight, the garage of a home in the 600 blk of W Takooma (tuc-oom-uh) took nearly 4 hours to put out. Fire Chief Dennis Binn said no one was injured, the garage was a total loss and the house suffered mostly smoke damage. Crews wrapped up the fire around 3:30 this morning, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
