PACNET Arrests One on Drug Charges

|On 04-14-09, The Pacific County Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested a Raymond area resident for Felony narcotics related charges. Deputies from the Pacific County Sheriff's Office and officers from the Raymond Police Department assisted in the apprehension of the suspect.|
Damon D. Townsend, age 34, was arrested for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance to wit: heroin, one count of possession of a controlled substance to wit: methamphetamine and one count of possession of a controlled substance to wit: heroin. Townsend was booked into Pacific County Jail.
Townsend's arrest was the result of a lengthy investigation by the Pacific County Narcotics Enforcement Team coupled with the assistance and information provided by all local law enforcement. Chief Ken Boyes, of the Raymond Police Department, stated "We are grateful that PACNET has remained vigilant, and our combined enforcement efforts will continue to be noticed".
