ABERDEEN, Wash. - A local transient is in custody this morning after attacking and robbing a 30 year old Olympia man on State street last night. Police say the victim was walking towards Safeway when approached by a man asking for the time, he was then knocked to the ground and robbed. Officers searched the area and the suspect, a 38 year old Aberdeen man was located by a State Patrol Officer. After a positive ID by the victim, the man was taken into custody and is expected to be charged with robbery and possession of methamphetamine charges.
