E911 Call Center Worker Recognized

Aberdeen, WA - A local E911 Operator has been awarded the State's award for Telecommunicator of the Year for Sustained Superior Performance. The Grays Harbor E-9-1-1 Center said Richard Garman, a Senior Telecommunicator, who has worked in the center since 1997, was nominated by Director Peggy Fouts. Garman will be honored at a state conference later this summer. The APCO award honors telecommunicators annually, the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials is an international public safety communication organization.
