South Bend, Washington - In an effort to coordinate county-wide shelter resources the Pacific County Emergency Management Agency (PCEMA) is constructing an in-house database of local facilities that would be willing to or are planning to open and operate emergency shelters. PCEMA will work with local facilities planning to open and operate an emergency shelter in a joint planning effort to provide emergency communications capabilities, coordinate outside shelter assistance, emergency power, and donated food and water to your site.
Upon agreement between your agency and PCEMA, your facility will be placarded and included in information provided to the public. Box 101, South Bend, WA 98586, not later than April 30, 2009. We look forward to working with the community to ensure an improved and efficient response to emergency and/or disastrous events in Pacific County.
