People can now follow the Washington State Patrol (#WSP) on Twitter. The Patrol will look to use Twitter to connect with people about issues of driver safety and enforcement; it also gives people the ability to follow our Forensic Laboratory Services Bureau and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The WSP plans to have the all of its districts on the Eastside and Westside available on Twitter soon. For more information about the Washington State Patrol please go to www.wsp.wa.gov.
To avoid potential conflicts, WSP will not tweet general road closure information already being broadcast on several platforms by WSDOT. Members of the public seeking traffic and highway information should visit WSDOT’s web site at www.wsdot.wa.gov.
