Hoquiam Property owners will soon be able to Consolidate contigious lots within the city. recognizing there was no procedure setup for such a thing in the city code, the City Council last night reffered a draft ordinance from City Attorney Steve Johnson which would allow two or more properties to be joined together into a single lot.
Johnson explained to Councilman Greg Grund; that property owners have contacted him with a second lot that they would like to build a garage on, and are unable to under the current city code. [in the attacked audio] The Draft ordinance now goes to the planning commission, which was asked at the meeting to get back to the council soon on this matter.
