Grays Harbor County Marine Resource Committee Gets Go-Ahead

Grays Harbor County coastal land will soon have a voice in coastal and marine matters.

The County Commissioners adopted a resolution to form the County Marine Resource Committee

Commissioner Terry Willis explained that the MRC in the attached audio

Kathy Grier of the Surfrider's Foundation requested support via a letter read aloud at the meeting by Public Services Director Paul Easter.


Commissioner Al Carter also said that the Resource Committee will bring many interests under the same roof to discuss issues concerning our coast.

The Exploratory Committee reccommended the formation of the MRC recognizing that local government needed more input on stewardship of our coastal properties.
