Aberdeen, WA - Grays Harbor PUD will conduct a planned power outage Monday, November 9, 2009 from 10am until approximately 2pm in the Artic and North River Road area. The outage is necessary to replace aging and failing underground cable. The work will enhance the reliability of the system serving the area.

 

The outage will affect customers south of the intersection of Blue Slough Road and Highway 107 including the area along Highway 101, the Cosmopolis hill radio tower site, Lund Road and North River Road.

Customers within the planned outage area are advised to protect sensitive electronic equipment such as computers, televisions, and microwaves by unplugging those items and leaving them disconnected until the power is fully restored. In addition, customers are advised that the length of the outage (4 hours) is an estimate and power could be restored at any time. It is not safe to make repairs to your electrical system without having the power disconnected.
