BIKE PATROL officers- Hergert and Peterson hit the street

While out that evening, they contacted two suspicious persons in the area of Adams Street; it turns out they interrupted a burglary of a nearby shop.  The next day when the burglary was discovered, they were able to turn the contact into an arrest for burglary / theft based on the information from the subject stop the night before.  A related suspect was identified, interviewed and confessed to the burglary.  He was booked at the county jail for the pending felony burglary and theft charges.

Apparently the officers on bike rolled right up on the subjects- they had no idea the officers were even coming.
