Grays Harbor County Gives fire Marshall the Final Say on Haunted Barn

Posted by David Haviland on October 13, 2009 at 8:20 am (853 social interactions)

Grays Harbor County Commissioners approved a haunted barn, upon conditions of the Fire Marshall's approval. County Commissioner Al Carter said yesterday that Hoquiam's concerns surrounded fire code violations, and escape routes. Fairboard Manager Mike Bruhner assured the council that the barn's three exits have passed inspections in the past.

Pending an inspection by the County Fire Marshall, the Class of 2009 Booster Club will open the Haunted Barn on October 23rd and 24th from 6 to 9 PM, as well as on Halloween night, from 5 to 11 PM in the Beef/Dairy Barn at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds.
