Aberdeen, WA - The City of Aberdeen’s Police Department was notified on September 24, 2009 that on behalf of United States Attorney General Eric Holder and the Office of Justice Programs, the Aberdeen Police Department had been approved for funding under the “FY09 Recovery Act Rural Law Enforcement Assistance: Enhancing Rural Correction, Detention, & Jail Operations” in the Amount of $837,721. The Grant period is from August 1, 2009 to July 31, 2011.
