Mason /Jefferson County - Troopers recovered 70 marijuana plants in various stages of growth early Thursday morning after they received information of a grow operation at a residence in Brinnon.

Trooper Matt Wood was on patrol in the Lake Cushman area around 8:00 pm on Thursday night when he was flagged down by a 66 year-old Brinnon man who said he had been threatened with a shotgun by his wife. Troopers, along with Mason County Sheriff’s Deputies contacted a motor home in the Lake Cushman Recreational Park, where they located the man’s wife, a 38 year-old from Brinnon.
