AMANDA PARK, Wash. - A sudden U-Turn in front of a semi truck sent it's trailer into 5 parked vehicles, then a vehicle into a building Thursday morning North of Amanda Park. The Washington State Patrol reports an 83 year old Neilton man sustained only minor injuries after he apparently pulled to the right shoulder on an inside corner of Southbound State Route 101 and began a U-Turn. The block truck behind him tried to take evasive action but clipped his Chevy S10 pickup, then it's pup trailer slid sideways into a row of five parked vehicles along the outside corner.
It happened just before noon Thursday, the impact from the chain reaction sent the last truck into a home nearby. In all five trucks, an SUV, the home, and the semi were damaged, the home was unoccupied at the time.
The truck driver, a 41 year old Neilton man, was not injured. The State Patrol reports the cause of the accident is under investigation.
