ABERDEEN, Wash. - An Aberdeen man apparently knew the man who maced, then robbed him on B street Friday afternoon. Police Captain John Green tells us on 9/6/13 at about 12:28 P.M. a 28 year old Aberdeen male reported that he had been robbed in the 300 Block of North B Street.
Responding officers located the victim who appeared to have been sprayed with a liquid irritant such as Mace. The officer observed that the victims hair was wet and a side of his face was red. The victim complained of pain coming from the red side of his face. The victim refused medical aid.
The victim told the officers that he was walking to the Thrift Store on B Street when he was approached by a male subject that he knows. The victim said the suspect asked him for some money. When the victim said he did not have any money he reported that the suspect sprayed him with the irritating substance and took an undisclosed amount of money from him.
Officers were told that the suspect fled on foot from the area.
Aberdeen Officers confirmed the identity of the suspect and a Attempt to Locate was provided to officers in the county. The suspect had not been located as of Monday.
