No Injuries, Neighbor Homes Threatened by Hoquiam Garage Fire

Hoquiam, WA - Fire crews were on scene for more than two hours this morning after a garage fire in the 200 block of Ecklund threatened multiple neighboring homes. Captain Matt Miller tells us crews found the detached garage fully involved at 6:20 Thursday morning, and had the fire knocked down in about 20 minutes. They spent almost two more hours chasing hot spots as the fire began to spread to the attic of a neighboring home and significantly damaged neighboring homes. No injuries were reported, the cause of the garage fire remains under investigation.
