One Injured in Grays Apartment Fire

Aberdeen, WA- Aberdeen firefighters removed one woman from the Grays Apartments Friday afternoon. Battalion Chief Troy Palmer tells us occupants were evacuating the building as crews arrived around 2:30 Friday with light smoke coming from the second story. One woman was transported from the single unit affected, later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. The building's fire alarm was apparently not functioning, Palmer said the fire was contained in about 15 minutes.
