Second Resident Located After Artic House Fire

Posted by David Haviland on February 25, 2013 at 9:16 am (536 social interactions)

Artic, WA - Investigators have located the second person thought to be involved in a house fire this morning, unharmed and one county over. Deputy Don Warnock with the County Sheriff’s department said this morning that initially two people were reported missing from the fire in the 200 block of Lund Road in what Warnock described as a detached shop with an apartment above.
Chief Criminal Deputy Steve Shumate tells us the person was later located in Pacific county. Fire investigators are now combing through the rubble to determine a source and cause of the blaze, the heat from which kept rescue crews from determining the fate of the second occupant for several hours this morning.
