Raymond, WA - Raymond High School yesterday showed their support for a local boy who remains in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, 15 year old Caleb Doyle is recovering from a gasoline can explosion last week that burned over 40 percent of his body.
About 300 students from the Junior and Senior High attended a quick assembly to update the community on Caleb's progress, thank his supporters, and ask for some privacy as the family waits for the next update from doctors.
Caleb's mother Chrissy gave a teary update from the rally "Things are changing on a daily basis, you know he's getting a little bit better but he's still on a ventilator. Today they'll take a deeper look at his burns to see the extent, they're pretty bad."
Since the accident on Wednesday, Caleb has been through multiple surgeries, and fundraisers have cropped up from a benefit account at a local bank to Krispy Kreme sales and a penny drive at the school. For details, and to follow Caleb's progress, find his page on Facebook "Get Well Caleb Doyle"
