Ocosta School District Pitches Bond to Replace Elementary Round Building

Westport, WA - The Ocosta School District is holding two public meetings this week to provide information on an April 23rd bond measure that would replace the elementary "round building."

The district will ask voters in April to approve an $11.8-million capital facilities bond, that would open up another 2.8 million in state funds to replace the building, and make improvements to the other K-3rd grade elementary building. Members of the Facilities Advisory Committee will be on hand to answer questions and explain conceptual designs of a new building. Both meetings start at 6:30 in the Elementary Multi-Purpose room, tonight and tomorrow night.
