Human Remains Found at Site of December Fire

Elma, WA - Human remains were found yesterday in the rubble of a fire that destroyed a double wide home last month in a remote area  on the Delezenne Rd in Elma. Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott tells us investigators believe it could be the body of a homeless man who the owner was allowing to stay in the building. Scott said when the mobile home burned on December 15th, the owner didn't mention the person because they hadn't seen them in a while. Due to the amount stored in the structure, firefighters were unable to enter at the time of the fire. Scott said the body was discovered by the owner when they returned to clear out their belongings a month later. The Grays Harbor County coroner is working to positively identify the remains.
