Icy Road Conditions Close Portion of State Route 101

Shelton, WA - Icy road conditions closed a portion of State Route 101 this morning. Chief Criminal Deputy Pat Matlock with the Pacific County Sheriff's Department tells us 101 is closed from mileposts 13 to 15.5 due to the road conditions and number of accidents in the area. Matlock said the roads are very icy in the Southern parts of Mason county this morning, Mary M. Knight school is running on a 2 hour delay today also due to icy roads.

 US 101 Both Directions - Multiple collisions on US 101 both directions at Milepost 13.00 near 33rd Street has the roadway blocked beginning at 7:46 AM on January 24, 2013 until approximately 9:30 AM.
