MCCLEARY, Wash. - A large property purchase in the city of McCleary could create 400 jobs in the East Grays Harbor County by 2014 according to USA Investment Group LLC. McCleary Mayor Gary Dent tells us the 350 acres within city limits will be developed in phases, the first of which will construct a steel pipe manufacturing facility that utilizes the city's rail line to import rolled steel. The group tells KBKW they plan to invest in excess of $200-million in the initial phase.
Dent said that the project will provide a boost to local, regional, and even national ecnomies. Pipe produced by the plant will be used in the oil and gas exploration and production throughout the United State and in Canada.
