Aberdeen, WA - The Grays Harbor PUD Board of Commissioners announced today that Doug Streeter will serve as Interim General Manager while the search process for a new General Manager continues. Doug Streeter currently serves as the PUD’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He is responsible for managing the District’s Accounting Department as well as the investment of District funds. In addition, Mr. Streeter chairs the PUD’s Risk Management Committee which oversees management of the PUD’s power portfolio. Doug Streeter has been with the District for nine years.
The Interim Manager is not an applicant for the full-time General Manager position and will serve as the Board of Commissioners completes the selection process for a new General Manager to replace Rick Lovely who announced his retirement last July after serving 13 years at the helm of Grays Harbor PUD. Mr. Lovely has continued to serve in the position while the Board established the process for selecting a replacement. His last day on the job will be Friday, January 25, 2013.
“Doug Streeter’s experience and knowledge of the PUD makes him a good choice to serve as Interim General Manager,” said Russ Skolrood, President of the Board of Commissioners. “We are confident in Doug’s ability to keep us moving forward while we find a replacement.”
