Aberdeen, WA - There's a new business moving to the harbor, but Victory Tactical Gear is no stranger. The company will be moving into the Port's Coastal Innovation Zone next door to partner company Reed Composite Solutions. Deputy Executive Director at the Port Leonard Barnes told port commissioners at their meeting this week "They're going to coming from California, locating their business here, with a permanent presence across the street from us. They'll work in conjunction [with RCS] testing some of the prototype stuff that's coming out of there."
Victory Tactical Gear was founded in 2010 by active and retired law enforcement officers. Ryan Reed of Reed Composite Solutions told commissioners that the body armor business has been good "We've already done some work with the City of Aberdeen, and we're working with the Department of Homeland Security in their new office. The local police forces have taken quite an interest in the body armor plate. I'm happy to report that not only do we have backlog business locally, nationwide, but also internationally."
