The National Weather Service In Seattle Has Issued A Wind Advisory...Which Is In Effect Until Midnight PST Tonight.


.A Vigorous Frontal System Will Bring Windy Conditions To The Central And North Washington Coast Today And This Evening...And To The North Puget Sound And North Interior Of Western Washington This Afternoon And Evening. Local Sustained Winds Of 30 To 35 Mph And Gusts Of 45 To 50 Mph Are Likely.


• Some Affected Locations...Neah Bay...La Push...Forks...Hoquiam...Westport.

• Timing...Winds Will Increase This Morning And Reach Their Peak Late This Morning Through This Evening.

• Wind...Local Sustained Winds Of 30 To 35 Mph And Gusts Of 45 To 50 Mph Are Likely.

• Impacts...While Winds Of This Strength Should Not Cause Widespread Damage...They Can Bring Down Small Trees And Branches With Local Power Outages.


A Wind Advisory Is Issued When Sustained Winds Of 30 To 39 Mph Or Gusts Of 45 To 57 Mph Are Likely.
