Website set up for Large Dock That Remains Beached Near Forks

Forks, WA - The large concrete dock that washed ashore near Forks Washington last month now has it's own website. Washington's Marine Debris Task Force tells KBKW the tracking buoy attached to the Forks dock indicate that it has not moved from its location along a remote section of coast in the Olympic National Park.
The incident entry on the website marinedebris.wa.gov says the Government of Japan did not have enough information to provide positive identification of the dock based on the photos that were submitted for verification purposes. State and federal responders sent additional photos on Dec. 28 that hopefully will facilitate this process.
