Aberdeen, WA - An alleged drunk driver struck a Sheriff's Patrol car in Aberdeen Sunday morning, after Aberdeen Police Captain John Green tells us the 22 year old Aberdeen woman failed to stop at a flashing red light at Wishkah and G street. Green said the woman's 2005 Ford Focus bounced off of a 1995 Ford Explorer before hitting the front driver's side of the cruiser, a 2009 Dodge Charger driven by Deputy Iverson just before 2 Sunday morning.
Damage to the county vehicle was estimated at $2,000 dollars. No injuries were reported. The woman was arrested on the suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Aberdeen Jail were she was processed and released.
