CONSTRUCTION

US 101, West Fork Hoquiam River Bridge

This $3.6 million project replaces two aging bridges that cross the West Fork Hoquiam River, mileposts 98.13 and 99.5. The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2009.
DAYS: Monday - Friday
TIME: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: Bridge replacement. Southbound lane closure from mileposts 98.07 to 98.2 and from mileposts 99.4 to 99.6.
LOCATION: Both directions of US 101, Hoquiam River Bridge, mileposts 98 to 99.
EXPECT: Long-term lane closure and signal-controlled, alternating one-way traffic at both locations, 24 hours a day until further notice.

US 101 Oak Street to Little Hoquiam River Bridge & Jct. US 101 to SR 109 - Paving

This $2.1 million project improves 6.3 miles of pavement along US 101 and SR 109 in Hoquiam. Project also replaces traffic signal loops, and installs pavement markings and signage. Project completion is scheduled for October 2009.

Monday - Thursday
TIME:
6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
DESCRIPTION:
Utility prep work for asphalt pavement inlay. Pavement repairs in various locations.
LOCATIONS:
US 101 Mainline:
Oak Street to Little Hoquiam River Bridge, mileposts 85.67 to 89.10.
US 101 Couplet:
Levee Street to 29th Street, mileposts 87.49 to 89.10.
SR 109 Mainline:
Jct. US 101 to SR 109 spur, mileposts 0.0 to 1.88.
SR 109 Couplet:
Emerson Avenue to 5th Street, mileposts 0.14 to 0.28.
EXPECT:
Intermittent, temporary lane closures and delays on US 101 (Riverside Avenue and Lincoln Street). On SR 109 (Emerson Street) flagger-controlled one-way, alternating traffic.

SR 109, Harborview Court to Grass Creek Bridge - Paving

This $760,000 project improves 2.9 miles of pavement on SR 109 in Grays Harbor County. Project also installs guardrail, pavement markings and signage. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of July 2009.
DAYS: Monday - Friday
TIME: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: Paving the westbound lane.
LOCATIONS: SR 109, north of Harborview Court to Grass Creek Bridge, mileposts 3.60 to 6.45.
EXPECT: Pilot car-directed one-way, alternating traffic. Up to 10 minute delays.

US 12, Elma to Montesano

US 12, Elma to Grand Mound

SR 115, Ocean City State Park

Flagger-controlled one-way, alternating traffic.

 

SR 115, Ocean City State Park

DESCRIPTION: Utility work using a directional bore under the highway.
