ABERDEEN, Wash. - A chip truck was blown onto it's side in the middle of the Chehalis river bridge just before noon today, Aberdeen police captain John Green tells us the driver felt a strong gust as he crested the bridge. His truck and empty trailer were blown over into the center of the two Southbound lanes.Rollover on Chehalis River Bridge
No injuries were reported from the scene, police are diverting traffic to the outside lanes of the bridge as crews work to upright the semi and clear debris. Traffic delays should be expected on US Highway 101 over the Chehalis River bridge.
Strong winds continue to plague the Grays Harbor PUD as well, the latest update adds 200 from the Bel Air area bringing the total without power in Grays Harbor to 3500.
PUD estimates power will be restored in Tokeland area by 1:30
