Ocean Park Man Arrested on Suspicion of 11 Rape Counts

Ocean Park, WA - On November 16^th, deputies with the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Ocean Park man for suspicion of 11 counts of Rape of a Child in the Third degree.

Chief Criminal Deputy Pat Matlock tells KBKW, information and evidence developed during this investigation led deputies to believe that the man had sexual intercourse and other sexual contact with a 14 year old female several times. Deputies also learned that he may have been providing marijuana and alcohol to the victim prior to the acts.

Deputies prepared and received a search warrant to search his residence for evidence pertaining to these allegations, and located pornographic videos, sex toys and deputies also seized a computer that may have contained evidence of the allegations.

The man was taken into custody without incident and questioned, then transported to the Pacific County Jail for booking. The investigation is still on going.
