Pacific County Sheriff's Office Arrests Oregon Fugitive

Shelton, WA - The Pacific County Sheriff's Department yesterday nabbed an Oregon fugitive who walked away from a Clatsop County Jail work crew in late August. Sheriff Scott Johnson tells us Ronald Ray Legler was arrested by the Pacific County Sheriff's Office yesterday and is currently in custody in the Pacific County Jail. The 39 year old convicted felon from Roseburg Washington was serving time for heroin possession. Johnson thanked the community for their assistance in locating Legler, who has been spotted in Southwest Washington several times since his escape.
