OCEAN SHORES, Wash. - County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 400 block of Damon Road regarding a structure fire in Ocean Shores around 6 Thursday night. Chief Criminal Deputy Steve Shumate tells us the property had been used in years past as a gift store, a Farmers market, and a barber shop. The structure was vacant at the time of the fire, the owner has been trying to sell it.
Shumate said the fire department quickly responded to the call and distinguished the fire. Fire damage occurred to one room, in addition to smoke damage throughout the structure.
At this time, the investigation continues to determine cause and origin of the fire.
