No Injuries in Grays Harbor City House Fire

Posted by David Haviland on October 10, 2012 at 8:13 am (298 social interactions)

GRAYS HARBOR CITY, Wash. - Fire crews were on the scene of a house fire in Grays Harbor City until midnight last night. District 6 Fire Chief Tim Spradlin tells us the home's residents were waiting outside when crews arrived to see that the fire had burned through the attic and partially caved in the roof.
Crews were able to take an offensive stance and protect some of the contents of the single story home, as well as a large detached garage nearby.
The fire kept crews from District 6, Copalis Beach, Copalis Crossing, and Hoquiam trucking in water for hours last night. The cause of the fire that was reported around 5:40 P.M. remains under investigation.
