Aberdeen Patrol Car Rear Ended by Alleged DUI Driver

Aberdeen, WA - An Aberdeen Patrol car was rear-ended while waiting at a stop light Sunday evening. Captain John Green tells us just after 7 Officer Parkinson was stopped for a red light at West First and Alder street when his 2012 Dodge Charger was rear-ended by a 2005 Chevy Pickup driven by a 39 year old Aberdeen man, who later tested over 3 times the legal limit for alcohol. Parkinson reported some soreness to his neck and back, the intoxicated driver was processed for DUI. The damage to the 2012 Dodge Charger police car was estimated at $2,500 dollars. The 2005 truck appeared to have minor front end damage.
