Two Illwaco Students Arrested For Alleged Marijuana Sales

Ilwaco, WA. – On September 26th, the Long Beach Police Department initiated an investigation at the Ilwaco Jr. /Sr. High School regarding alleged narcotics violations occurring within the school. An officer from the Long Beach Police Department notified deputies with the Pacific County Drug Task Force and they responded to assist with the investigation.

Based on information and statements gathered during the investigation, from students and staff, the officers had reason to believe that two students were distributing marijuana to several other students within the school. The alleged marijuana transactions would take place between the morning class periods when marijuana would be exchanged for cash.

The two students in question, both juvenile males, were arrested for delivery of a controlled substance (Marijuana). A small amount of marijuana and cash were seized in conjunction with the investigation
