An update to our story has been posted here.

Shelton, WA - On Friday morning, September 21, 2012, the live-in girlfriend of William Wright called the Mason County Sheriff’s Office to report that sometime between Thursday night, September 20, 2012 at 10 PM and Friday morning, September 21, 2012 at 6 AM, William Wright left their Shelton area residence.  Investigators believe William left the residence on foot as all of the couple’s vehicles are accounted for.

William is most likely armed with a handgun/firearm and is suffering from severe Parkinson’s disease and chronic depression.  William is also without his needed medication.  It is also unknown as to what William is wearing or how he is traveling.

William is 59 years old and is described as 5’-10”, 190 lbs., shaved head, blue eyes, gray goatee and most likely walks with a limp.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search & rescue mission in and around William’s residence, using ground searchers, aircraft, and K-9 units, but was met with negative results.

Anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of William Wright is requested to call the Mason County Sheriff’s Office at 360-427-7761.

Photographs of William Wright are shown below.
