Hoquiam Arrest Uncovers More Than a Dozen Victims of Identity Theft

Hoquiam, WA - Investigators are still working to track down more than a dozen victims of a woman arrested last week in Hoquiam. Police Chief Jeff Myers tells us neighbors reported the woman breaking into the backyard of a home on Cherry street, and loading yard tools into what turned out to be a stolen vehicle Wednesday morning.
Over 36 pages of booking records and testimonies show the 43 year old never admitted to her true identity, even after a fingerprint and photo match.
Myers said the woman's spree didn't end in the driveway either, while being interviewed at the Hoquiam police station she climbed onto a bathroom sink and ripped out a light fixture.
The woman was booked into the Grays Harbor County jail on charges of residential burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle, and identity theft in the 2nd degree. Arresting documents show that various methamphetamine paraphernalia was also confiscated.
15 Different names have been found on various items including bank account statements, numerous identifications, and Washington EBT cards. Victims ranged from residents who had reported car prowl incidents recently, to a Portland Oregon man.
