Ocean Shores, WA - A cabin cruiser rolled in the Ocean Shorees surf yesterday. Police Chief Russ Fitz tells us at approximately 3:30 PM on Monday, officer Kyle Watson observed the 22-foot vessel roll over in the surf tossing the four passengers into the water. Watson assisted the 64-year-old captain to shore while the other passengers made it to shore by themselves. All of the passengers where checked by Ocean Shores Fire Department aid personnel and released.  Efforts are currently underway to recover the vessel in the surfline just south of the Chance ala Mer beach approach. The captain of the vessel indicated that he had engine problems and became caught in surf. The Ocean Shores Marine Patrol will be conducting a boating accident investigation.
