Hoquiam Subway Store Held Up, No Shots Fired

HOQUIAM, Wash. - No shots fired Friday while Hoquiam Police investigated a robbery of the Hoquiam Subway.
Detective Srgt. Shane Krohn tells us a man walked into the Hoquiam Subway store Friday night and implied that he had a firearm, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Krohn said no weapon was ever shown.
suspect videoWhile detectives were investigating the robbery, someone in the area lit off fireworks. No gunshots were fired during the robbery or the investigation.

Aberdeen officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, and Washington State Patrol assisted Hoquiam K9 officers in an attempt to track the robbery suspect, described as a white male; 6 feet tall with a thin build.

Investigators are viewing video surveillance from the store.
